National Workplace Learning Certification - A New Recognition For Companies With Good Workplace Learning Processes And Capabilities

The National Workplace Learning Certification, developed by the National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE), was launched by Mr Lawrence Wong, Minister for Education at the Mandai MRT Depot today. The new certification aims to help Singapore-based companies put in place progressive workplace learning practices and capabilities, and through this, enhance their workforce performance and improve retention rates. NACE is led by Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) and supported by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).

Adjustments To Skills Training Schemes To Sharpen Focus On Manpower Development Outcomes

As announced during the Ministry of Education’s Committee of Supply debate in March 2021, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be implementing three key measures to prioritise SSG’s resourcing on training schemes which will better meet the training needs of Singaporeans and in turn deliver stronger manpower development outcomes.
