Singapore's Highest Skills Awards Presented To 18 Exemplary Singaporeans And 22 Employers

A total of 18 Singaporeans and 22 employers received the fourth SkillsFuture Fellowships and SkillsFuture Employer Awards respectively this year. 

The SkillsFuture Fellowships recognise and support Singaporeans who display skills mastery in their respective fields and commitment to mentorship and the skills development of others. The SkillsFuture Fellowships is awarded to 18 Singaporeans from varying industries such as Healthcare, Design and Landscape. Recipients will receive a monetary award of S$10,000 to support them in their continued pursuit of skills mastery and lifelong learning. 

The SkillsFuture Employer Awards recognise exemplary employers which make significant efforts in the skills development of their employees and develop skills-based career pathways for their employees. The 22 recipients comprise seven Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and 15 non-SMEs from industries such as Food Services, Precision Engineering and Logistics.

The SkillsFuture Fellowships and SkillsFuture Employer Awards are jointly conceptualised and evaluated by tripartite partners, which include representatives from the industry, the National Trades Union Congress, SSG and Workforce Singapore. Through the SkillsFuture Fellowships and SkillsFuture Employer Awards, we recognise and celebrate the achievements of individuals who are committed to deepening and mastering their skills, and employers who take the lead in championing skills development and lifelong learning. We are happy to receive inspiring and excellent candidates this year, and I would like to congratulate the recipients of the awards on their achievements”, said Mr Choo Chiau Beng, Chairman of the judging panel.
