Swiss Academy and its offering of Preparatory and Diploma courses

1.     It has come to the attention of the Committee for Private Education, SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (SSG/CPE) that a ‘Swiss Academy’ has been advertising its offering of preparatory and diploma courses through the website: https://swissacademysg.com.

2.     SSG/CPE would like to alert and inform the public that Swiss Academy is NOT a Private Education Institution (PEI) registered with SSG/CPE and NOT awarded EduTrust certification. The Unique Entity Number published in the website belongs to another entity and PEI, Kingston International School. A police report has been lodged by Kingston International School for this, and the police has issued a warning that the above website could be a scam website.

3.         In the website, Swiss Academy also stated its award of ‘CTH Gold Centre’ quality mark and posted a logo of the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH). Please be informed that Swiss Academy is not found as a CTH Teaching Centre on the CTH’s official website.

4.     SSG/CPE strongly advises the public not to engage with the Swiss Academy on its preparatory and diploma courses, whether via the suspected scam website or otherwise.

5.    Members of the public who wish to enrol for a private education course are advised to refer to the Training Partners Gateway (TPGateway) website https://www.tpgateway.gov.sg/resources/information-for-private-education-institutions-(peis)/pei-listing with information on the registration statuses of PEIs and permitted courses.
