Presented by the President of the Republic of Singapore, the SkillsFuture Employer Awards honour exemplary organisations that champion employees’ skills development and build a lifelong learning culture at the workplace.
The Award distinguishes your organisation as an outstanding employer that emphasises employees’ skills development. It is a prestigious symbol of excellence and helps your organisation gain a competitive edge in talent attraction and retention. Your organisation can receive a Silver, Gold or Platinum Award. The Platinum Award is the highest tier and conferred upon exceptional companies.
The SkillsFuture Employer Awards is open to all Singapore registered entities, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs), corporations and voluntary welfare organisations. Past recipients of the award are encouraged to reapply as an affirmation of their continuous commitment towards creating a culture of learning at their workplace. They will be evaluated on their progress in advancing their employees' skills development since their last award.
Applications for SkillsFuture Employer Awards 2026 are now closed.
The organisation should display commitment to creating an organisational culture that supports lifelong learning and continuous pursuit of skills mastery.
For example, to receive the Silver award, the organisation has programmes at the workplace to facilitate continuous training, and/or sharing of skills and knowledge, or the company actively reskills and upskills their employees to keep up with new processes and systems. Organisations that have very strong workplace learning practices may receive the higher tier Gold award.
Organisations should demonstrate dedication and support towards continuous development of employee skills and capabilities to meet business and employee development needs.
For example, to receive the Silver award, the organisation should have a structured skills-based system in place to assess/promote employees and hire candidates. Organisations that have adopted the Skills Framework or equivalent skills-based framework may receive the higher tier Gold award.
The organisation has strengthened its competitiveness and sustainability by adopting initiatives to enhance productivity, building a strong Singaporean Core, and/or creating a good work environment.
For example, to receive the Silver award, the organisation fosters an inclusive and diverse workplace for different employee segments such as mature workers and/or persons with disabilities. Organisations that have contributed to the development of the industry may receive the higher tier Gold award.
