Terms of Use

Overview

  1. Thank you for visiting skillsfuture.gov.sg (“The Website”). The Website is owned and maintained by SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (“SSG”).
  2. All access to any area of The Website is governed by the Terms of Use below. By accessing or using The Website (including the use of any online services found therein), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, do not access or use The Website.
  3. These Terms of Use may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of SSG. Your access to or use of this The Website after such amendments have been posted will constitute your agreement to the amended Terms of Use. You should therefore read these Terms of Use carefully each time you visit The Website.

Use of Data

  1. The accessibility and operation of The Website relies on technologies outside our control. We do not guarantee continuous accessibility or uninterrupted operation of The Website. SSG shall be entitled, at any time, to :-

    1. deny or restrict access to The Website by any particular person;-

    2. cease operating The Website; or

    3. block access to The Website from any particular internet address,

    4. without ascribing any reasons whatsoever.

Security

  1. Where appropriate, we use available technology to protect the security of communications made through The Website. However, we do not accept liability for the security, authenticity, integrity or confidentiality of any transactions and other communications made through The Website.
  2. Internet communications may be susceptible to interference or interception by third parties. Despite our best efforts, we make no warranties that The Website is free of infection by computer viruses or other unauthorised software.
  3. You should take appropriate steps to keep your information, software and equipment secure. This includes clearing your Internet browser cookies and cache before and after using any services on The Website. You should keep your passwords confidential, and not mislead or confuse other users by pretending to be someone else.

Release

  1. The collection and use of any information collected from you, including but not limited to personal data, by SSG will be subject to the skillsfuture.gov.sg Privacy Policy.

  1. The Website and the Contents are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. Your use of The Website is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSG does not warrant, and hereby disclaims any warranty, :

    1. as to the accuracy, correctness, completeness, reliability, timeliness, non-infringement, title, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose of the Contents; and

    2. that The Website (including any functions associated therewith) or the Contents will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected, or that The Website or its server is or will be free of viruses, worms and/or other harmful or invasive elements.

  2. You acknowledge and accept that SSG shall be entitled to update or modify The Website or the Contents from time to time.
  3. SSG shall not be liable for any injury, damage, expense or loss of any kind caused as a result (direct or indirect) of the use of The Website, including (without limitation) any injury, damage, expense or loss suffered as a result of reliance on the Contents. SSG and its third-party agents or contractors shall have no responsibility or liability for any injury, damage, expense or loss whatsoever in connection with or arising from The Website caused by any negligence, omission or fault, including any injury, damage, expense or loss in connection with or arising from The Website caused by any negligence, omission or fault on the part of their respective employees, agents or contractors.
  4. SSG may amend or change the URL of The Website at any time. Under no circumstances is SSG obliged to inform, or give prior notice to, parties / persons who have hyperlinked to or framed The Website or any of the Contents about the amendment or change of The Website’s URL.

Links To External Websites

  1. The Website may contain hyperlinks to other websites which are not maintained by SSG (the “External Websites”). Such hyperlinks are provided solely for the convenience of users. SSG is neither responsible for the contents of the External Websites, nor responsible for any goods or services offered on the External Websites, and shall not be liable for any injury, damage, expense or loss arising from access to the External Websites. Use of such hyperlinks is entirely at your own risk.
  2. SSG shall not be considered associated or affiliated with any trade or service marks, logos, insignia or other devices (not owned by, licensed to, or controlled by SSG) used or appearing on the External Websites.
  3. Notwithstanding anything else set out in these Terms of Use, unless expressly permitted in writing by SSG on a prior basis, hyperlinking to, or framing of, The Website or any of the Contents is strictly prohibited.

Links from External Websites

  1. Hyperlinking to, or framing of, any part of The Website or any of the Contents constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy (as may be amended from time to time). If you do not accept these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy, you must discontinue hyperlinking to, or framing of, The Website or the Contents. For the avoidance of doubt, this paragraph 16 shall not be construed as dispensing with or prejudicing the need to seek the prior written permission of SSG for hyperlinking to, or framing of, The Website or any of the Contents as described in paragraph 15 above.
  2. If you create a link to or frame of The Website or any of the Contents, you do so at your own risk. We shall be entitled to object or disable any link to or frame of The Website or the Contents. We shall be entitled to change the URL of The Website at any time without prior notice to you.

Proprietary Rights

  1. The Website, including (without limitation) any text, information, images, photographs, video, audio, graphics, software programs and links found therein (the “Contents”), may be protected by copyrights, trademarks and other forms of proprietary rights. The Contents are owned by, licensed to, or controlled by SSG.
  2. The Website may not be used for any illegal purpose, or in any manner inconsistent with these Terms of Use. You shall not reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, adapt, modify, or otherwise display or distribute in any way the Contents without the prior written permission of SSG. You shall not scrape The Website or the Contents without the prior written permission of SSG.

Governing Law

  1. These Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of the Republic of Singapore.
  2. The rights conferred upon SSG under these Terms of Use are cumulative in nature.
